No metals or glues are used in the creation of these uniquely personal pieces. I prepare my necklace fabrics using the same cutting, creasing, splicing and wrapping techniques that I use in my baskets, and then finish off each strand with silky embroidery floss for added color, texture and sheen.
Because they’re so soft and flexible, these pieces can be slipped over the head without any need for clasps- a great choice for those who have difficulty with jewelry clasps and those who are allergic to metals or alloys.
